About the Meyers

In 2012, Aaron and Shannon Meyer bought about 20 acres in Lawrence, Kansas in hopes of homesteading for their family.  They built a home in 2015 and started gardening. By 2016, they ordered their first day-old chicks.  Somewhere during this time,while each having full time jobs and raising two small boys, the whole idea of farming became more and more of a passion for the whole family. So, they decided to start a little farm and to share their experiences with you.  They are learning as they grow and invite you to follow along!
