Winter on the farm. ❄️

You guys aren’t going to believe this, but we’ve got ANOTHER birthday on the farm today! Mr. Arlo is six! He’s so sweet with the animals and always wants to help around the farm. We love him dearly! Ok, that’s it for birthdays for a while 😂

And now it’s time to give celebrate the birth of Farmer Aaron! The brains and passion behind our farm! Happy Birthday! (And of course, on his birthday he chooses to pick up chicken feed!😉 ) 👨🏼‍🌾

As I absentmindedly tossed the remains of tonight’s spaghetti squash into the compost, I cringed as I saw this cute little face staring back at me. I felt bad as the squash slammed into our visitor and apologized profusely. We like having opossums around (although not really in our compost) as they help with tick control and I have no interest in suffering ehrlichiosis again!

Farm friends: it’s Shannon’s birthday!

Early morning dropping off our last pigs of the year...or first pigs of the year I suppose! I was going to video loading them up, but they self-loaded so fast I didn’t have time to get my phone out.
